This isn't an in-depth article but it's from a more or less 'independant' source - an Australian National University scientist. It comments on the rate of extinctions we're seeing right now and comments on it's similarities with past extinction events.

It's extremely worrying to see this sort of thing happening.

I wanted to post it up, because these articles always slip under the radar and then suddenly everyone is surprised when there's very little biodiversity left even though we've been warned for years.

This article gives a fair assessment of what we're facing. I just hope the wrong people don't take this warning as an excuse for cloud seeding. Silver ionized aerosols should be immediatly banned and stopped, by all countries. Spreading an aerosol that bonds with pollution in the atmosphere, is like adding Javex to the ocean to get rid of oil spills. It's totally senseless, and is bewildering to me how it ever got started.

People need to make some serious sacrifices, and need to work together in solving the problem of environmental pollution. There's no such thing as quick fixes, only quick destruction.

Sadly, I fear the machine already has a death grip on our planet, and the people in power are asleep at the wheel.
