my avatar just recently magically dissapeared and i am trying to put it back


do you use [ats] when i paste it in or do you just leave the [img] thingy ?

What are you trying to use as your avatar? You put the link of the picture on the Avatar spot in the Account Settings. You don't need [ats] or [img] brackets.

You need to have the image on a server, your link is to a thread.

Don't use the BB Code brackets, just use the straight url provided by your image hosting service.

Using my avatar url as an example, you post it like this:

http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee162/21b45o13x25c54o34d45e/ats/cylon50ms.gif

Not like this:

[ats]http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee162/21b45o13x25c54o34d45e/ats/cylon50ms.gif[/ats]

Avatars in general don't magically disappear. Chances are a staff member disabled it because it didn't conform to the guidelines.

Avatars cannot exceed 160 pixels wide by 320 tall, and cannot be above 75k in size. For avatars below 50k, height can extend up to 400 pixels.
