this is an amazing find. Its weird how this has been around for a supposed 1.3 million years and it has only been in the last 150 years or so that man has evolved in way of technology. did humans not really advance until just recent and it took 1.3 million years for this to happen???? what are your theories

I think it's a very interesting find myself. I've alway enjoyed the study of evolution. I guess the date would place it somwhere in between the Homo Erectus finds and the Neanderthals. The missing links in the evolutionary line are slowly being bridged. Good post, and thanks for the link.

My theory is that we've always learned, and as soon as manufacturing techniques and scientific knowledge reaches a certain point, industrialisation pushes society forward a great deal, causing a chain-reaction of research, development, and implementation. The real progress started in the 1600s in Britain.

Yeah, some parts of the board are like blackholes where nothing is able to get out. It's too bad, because a lot of good post get overlooked.

Thats because technology grows at an exponential rate. It always has and it always will. More technology means better technology so improvements are fast.

It is a shame that posts like this dont get as much attention as posts like, "I was chased by a giant beaver". I guess thats just what ATS is like

That too came about not long after Roswell.
