Horseback Riding is Awesome!!!

We did this today for my mother and my brother's boyfriend... First time I'd ever been on a horse, and it rocked! It only took me a few minutes to figure it out, and I was galloping, stopping, going backwards, etc.

Feel I kind of tapped into a little previous life knowledge or something...even mounted/dismounted smooth as silk... My wife, an accomplished rider, was even impressed...

If you've never done this...it's a definite must do... The guide even screwed up and gave me a spirited horse, as she thought I had ridden before....

I even got it to do a full run (damn that's fast, and scary as hell) to catch up with the others (it had to pee, hehe..)..

you're obviousley into re-enactments, perhaps you could eventually learn how to joust. My brother's having a go at the moment.

I use to go horseback riding when I was younger, it's cool to just chill while going for a ride, also knew this girl that had 2 horses when I was a teen.

you should go riding through the garden of the gods in colorado. very very nice
