It would be quite nice to have the date the thread was started on the recent post or sectional lists.

Just how the last post has the date/time stamp and the name, would it be much of a chore and load on the system to add a date time stamp for the opening post of the thread in the author column?

I would find this information very useful. Quite a few threads can remain active for months or years, but not as relevant, with titles with words like 'now' 'new' 'breaking' and other words that spark urgency, to find it is old. It doesn't mean it won't be read, but given better context to just how current this information is. Old threads still have great value

Anyone else feel the same?

Thank you for you time.

The "thread" button below the posts, isn't showing in this forum. It's also not showing if the thread is less than two pages long.

edit to add: I take that back. It is actually showing in this forum. But not if the thread is one page only.

yes i feel the same

i have asked the same question a few months ago, only i guess not as clear. and just posted another reply in that thread for an answer.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

edit to add: i just found the "new thread tag" at the bottom and i guess that could help a little, but i still think the date/time stamp of the original thread in the sectional would be fantastic!!
