Hint #1: Immortality

One must convince themselves of their own Immortality.

Biological mortality is not the direction I'm going. The human body perhaps can live a lot longer than our current programming allows, however objective observation of nature shows that the physical is not meant to be eternal. Nature shows us that the physical is always being changed and recycled.

So when speaking of immortality, it is the identity of the individual that would be of concern to an awareness that finds itself experiencing from a terminal vessel.

As long as fear of death remains a deep rooted human program caused by the god-like manipulation of our bodies and environment, the individual cannot transcend. Realizing that your awareness already transcends all of creation would go along way in uprooting this fear.

Apart from that someone could visualize their thoughts existing within the space inside and between atoms. Don't these thoughts leap between atoms and therefore exist within the space? And when the physical vessel dies will you have enough density, enough gravity, as an individual mass of thoughts to exist on your own. If energy is not created or destroyed then why would consciousness? What is consciousness? What is awareness?

Hint #2: Identifying the Matrix

The term "matrix" can be used to mean different things.

The physical body could be thought of as a matrix.
The society in which we live could be thought of as a matrix.
The entire physical existence could be thought of as a matrix.

The physical body could be thought of as a womb (see above definition of "matrix"); a place unto which something else develops. That which develops from this "womb" is the density of our self identity which includes how we interact with the existence we find around us. For we each are the center of the universe from our own eyes. And indeed, with an infinite mind, we are the center of a potential universe of our own creation.

The idea of the matrix in the movie was allegorical to the society in which we live and the subjective analysis of our world by others that we take for our own. It's both the society and it's corresponding anchor of programming in our mind.

The physical universe could also be thought of as a matrix; a place for gods to develop. It provides a structured environment for certain lessons of creatorship to be learned.

I'll see about adding more as they come to mind. If anyone wants to add their own, feel free. What has helped you in your ongoing quest of claiming your inheritance as a creator with infinite potential?

Hint #3: Awareness

Become aware of your awareness. Watch it. Study it. Examine it. Feel it.

What is it's shape and size? What is it made of? What are it's limits?

Hint #4: Non-Judgment

This is a difficult one. There's a difference between judgment and identification. Identifying things in others is important for our own self work. It's when we use those identifications, or make some up, in order to feel superior to another, that it becomes judgment.

Judgment is best replaced with understanding, acceptance, and appreciation. By seeing others in self we are increasing our density of being. By ultimately coming to appreciate all perspectives for what they offer, we are showing our existential maturity or "spiritual" maturity if you wish.
