bar none the Garand will out shoot the M1A in distance and force of impact, although the 14 has a floor plate clip and larger capacity mags, but i think somewhere i remember seeing a conversion using BAR clips on the Garand which would make it totally sweet without the TWING sound.

BAR is the best choice
