This band is virtually unknown, but they are really good and even seem to touch on conspiratorial issues at times. Check them out, Noble Robot.

Nothing gets the apocalyptic feelings going like godspeed its good for doom and gloom

But if you feel like shoe gazing then SlowDive is the cure

If you need to float away then there is Spritualized

and if you want to get happy how about some polyphonic spree

And of course if your going through a Break Up the mountain goats have the perfect song

cheers

The best music I've heard in a long time comes from an acquaintance of mine in NYC. Check out jjbrine.com - very relevant to this message board, and great music IMO.

There's an excellent youtube video for one of his songs on youtube that is potentially of great interest to those interested in certain "Illuminati" affiliated organizations. Not sure of what the intended statement is regarding these groups, though - it's unclear as to me if he's opposed, aligned to, or perhaps indifferent to the aims of such movements and simply fascinated with the aesthetics of their thematic concerns.

The song is called "Ghost of Your Mother's Womb" - check it out:

Simian Mobile Disco is another new favorite! It's one of those "best in genre" phenomena. But that's far more above top ground; the JJ Brine stuff is more "above top secret."

i have made over 100 mix CDs for friends and family and am addicted to exchanging music suggestions!

feeling like you need to relax?

boards of canada, wisp, brian eno, explosions in the sky, eluvium, warm ghost..

feeling contemplative?

philip glass, steve reich, frank zappa, moondog, autechre..

feeling dance fever?

bibio, chris clark, liars, kraftwerk, DEVO, squarepusher, aphex twin.. (i love me some Warp Records
