Why would all this happen? Because of the Patriot act. This is how our freedoms are being misted away. How free is it to be able to get rid of a neighbor by simply pointing and yelling "TERRORIST!!!"? Seems like freedom, until it happens to you. Maybe it was because of the racist down the street who doesn't like your dark-skinned friends. Maybe it's some overly paranoid old lady who sleeps with the TV tuned to MSNBC or CNN, and thinks everyone is a terrorist. What's next, new racist nation? How far will it go before there is a revolt? I garantee you'd think differently if you get pulled over and interrogated just because you don't follow 'fashion norms'.
Terrorsists are not funded by the govt. C'mon...so we set up the whole invasion of Afganistan by Russia in 1980 and the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq so that we can base US military forces in Saudi Arabia which then later on spurs on supposed USA govt funded and USA-hating Arabs who then years later bomb the WTC and then later blow it up with airplanes??? All so that George Bush can turn the US into a totalitarian state??? Crazy...

Not the government, most conspiracy theorists see most of this as being the result of extra-national secret socieities with links to terrorism. The conspiratorial view of history explains that the Russian revolution (and the first world war that caused it) was influenced heavily by secret socieities such as the Illuminati, and that they essentially directed the cold war from then on. Key players in the 'conflict', ambassadors, diplomats, even leaders on both sides of the divide had links to the secret societies, so it may be possible that yes, indeed, the whole of the Afghanistan thing may indeed have been a set up as you suggest, not just for totalitarianism in the USA, but all over the world.
The USA has always been a tool of these secret societies, and if the USA becomes a totallitarian puppet state to the secret societies, as the Bush familly will ensure, then the New World Order will be much easier to achieve.

Personally I think throwing everything out and reverting back to the original constitution would be the best step in the right direction. Start over. Our constitution doesn't even exist anymore because of all the laws they have piled on top of it. It's crap.

I'm neither a democrat or republican...if I had a party, it would be a mix of scientists and spiritualists who went by logic and human needs to guide a country. The US's current problem is that we have class warfare constantly between the rich and poor...we will never unite as a people.

I keep reading posts around this forum in which people keep saying 'The governement of America wouldn't do that because they want to protect our freedom' and 'It wouldn't happen here because America has a bill of rights' or words to that effect. Unfortunately, this mentality is very dangerous, and exactly the mentality which is allowing George Bush and his cronies, who publically declair their intentions (see this website or search on google for 'the Iron Mountain Report') to pull your rights from directly beneath your feet. Have you looked at the Patriot act and what it entails? Have you looked at Patriot II which is even worse? Sure, most politicians and civil servants have genuinely good intentions to serve their country, but it only takes a small core of men with all the power to do the damage.
America is not unique. It is another parlimentary democracy like any other in the world. MOST, not some MOST parlimentary democracies have failed over history, and turned, through one mean or another into dictatorships and police states. Look at any continent, and you shall see MANY examples of this. The most famous case is Germany- and in this I see many parallels with todays America. Adolf Hitler's Nazi party was voted into power, and then, conveniently, there was a terrorist attack. Because of an 'invisible threat' of communist terrorists, Hitler was able to pass his enabling act, which contained many similar legal processes as the Patriot act. That act enabled Hitler to stay as dictator of Germany for 12 years, and wreck havok in europe. The only difference was that Hitler publically declaired in his election campaigns and party policy that the Wiemar Constitution would be dismantled if he were voted into power. It would have made no difference in the long run if he had declaired this or not.
I have friends who are psychologists, and they say that Bush displays, in his body language and manorisms when making speaches, that he is both lying and has other agendas despite what he is telling us in his speaches. George Bush, as well, has PROVEN memberships to secret organisations, notably the Skull and Bones, which, no matter how much debunkers will say is a myth and a paranoid lie, actually EXISTS. There is hard, solid evidence. The Skull and Bones also is, and is PROVEN to be, an offshoot of the Bavarian Illuminati (also PROVEN to exist). The Illuminati's self confessed aim is world domination.
So, all you americans who believe that what we paranoid conspiracy theorists are saying is a load of arse, becuase your lovely government would never do such a thing to you need to get a grip on reality. Humans are not like that. Humans thirst for power, and as long as humans are in charge, there will always be subversion and thirst for MORE power. If you don't believe it, you wont see it happening until its too late, and then you'll be the first to complain when you find that because of the 'terrorist threat' you are not allowed out of your homes at night, and friends and familly start disappearing.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

Who is my role model? The entire world. I see bad things happen to good people, I learn and make sure I don't do those bad things. I see good people turn bad, and I don't want to be like that. I see bad people do good things, and I try to do good things. My morals and outlooks on life change slightly every day, but I still try to be the best person I can, not the most successful, and I try to let that influence waft out to everyone I come in contact with. I would LOVE to see the world with just that mentality: use EVERYONE as your role model. One person can't do it alone, so every day I try to get more people into the trend. This is how I am fighting back, even on a small scale. Influence spreads quickly, but so does corruption. Hopefully my influence has spread to some of you.

The Twin Towers and the innocent lives lost in them does not even compare to the amount of lives lost on the "war on terrorism" that the American Government is doing.

So in essence, if I get this right...every US leader is controlled by some secrect society. Sorry, the special interest lobbying groups are the ones who do this. Not one story has ever come out from a cabinet member, senator, judge, intern, mailman, secrect service person, or anyone else I know of that has said that "it's all a scam, and this group is doing this". Heck even UFO stories have been leaked and commented on by high ranking officials...but not a whisper of a secrect society.
I wish people would realize the cultural dynamics in America are the cause of where we are at. Big money lobbyists, an overworked population that has no time for politics, and the economic need for a middle of the road canidate year after year is why everyone seems the same and "cookie cutter" like.
It's good to be paranoid because we all know that half the time we are being "BS'd" by the media, politicians, our families, our bosses, and even this board. So I'm not saying not to believe what you want because a paranoid's intensity usually uncovers some lies...it does serve a purpose...the only problem is that they take a few facts and make grandiose theories, instead of using all the facts to come up with a plausible theory.
