Input on a UFO sighting (no video or pics)

I am just curious if anyone has seen something similar. This was quite bizarre and unfortunately no witnesses with me. I was in the Sand Dunes of Southern Colorado. I noticed from the corner of my eye a green flash. I looked over and saw it zipping across the dunes. It appeared to be shaped like a dragon fly (i.e. long and thin) but I couldn't honestly say how big it was other than likely smaller than a plane. It's flight pattern was erratic as it bobbed up and down as it moved through the air- almost as though it were swimming. This was at night and it was definitely green and lit up. It moved at an incredible speed to traverse the dunes this quickly (just under a couple seconds before it was gone). The strange thing is I think someone else may have witnessed it as I saw a flashlight come on across the Sand Dunes immediately after the event (maybe half a mile away) as though it were searching towards what I saw. Just curious if anyone has witnessed a UFO or something similar (perhaps cryptozoological?). Any thoughts are welcomed- thanks
