Kosovo clashes force UN pullout

At least 22 UN police and eight Nato troops were reported injured after a raid to retake a court seized by Serbs. Nato troops - who used tear gas as they faced gunfire, stones and petrol bombs - have now taken control of security.

A UN spokesman told the BBC that Nato K-For troops were left in control of the situation after the police withdrew and initial reports suggested the situation was calming down.

I'm supprised how long it took from the Serb nationalists to start an organised uprising against KFOR and UN-Police. They routed the UN-"police" but KFOR was still able to resist. Lets hope this wont turn into a querilla war against KFOR, or worse an allout civil war supported by Serbia. There has been more than enough time consipre a serious campaign against either KFOR or ethnic albanians. Will blood flow in the balkansd once again?
