Who says it's an individual? No where that I am aware of states that it is just one person - certainly not the Bible.

I have believed for a long time that it is a composite group of people. As with so many things that could be true - often the answer is right in front of your face.

Who denies Christ today? Who is against the concept of there being a Christ?

Often we make things too difficult when the answer could be elementary...

They often have even taken a strong stance against Christ, Christmas, God on the dollar bill, discussion of God & Creation being taking out of the schools...etc.

P.S. I do not personally believe that Jesus is the "God" that many do. Certainly not the Almighty. A heavenly God? Yes, just not the Chairman of the Board!
