Hajji, of Hackney, east London, had concealed a 6,000-pound engagement ring inside a helium balloon. The idea was that she would pop the balloon as he popped the question.

But as he left the shop, a gust of wind pulled the balloon from his hand and he watched the ring -- and quite possibly the affections of his girlfriend -- sailing away over the rooftops.

Having recently proposed to my then girlfriend i found this story rather amusing. Although i feel for the poor guy, this story is just too funny.

I do hope someone finds sees the story and returns the ring to him.

It may be kinda funny in a way, but I find it more sad because of the way the girl is treating him...
I can't believe shes actually refusing to talk to him until he buys her a new ring!!
Seems like she loves the ring more than she loves him.
How shallow of her to be like that.. :shk:

I dont think she deserves it..
