Economic Links->Downturn->Panic?

Does this forum believe there is currently economic panic going on in the general population?

Everyone on this forum, is obviously interested in the topic, reading the articles and having an opinion.

The economics do not look good and the good times have been kept going a long time, however it will not be over until the average person thinks that there is a problem, and at this point we really will have a big problem.

For me there has not been much really said on this by the average person in the street. It is all still quite low key, we appear to be in a downturn.

What do people think, is it being discussed at parties?
