There’s been a lot of speculation as of late that Aliens are going to disclose themselves in 2012.

There’s been as much speculation that Governments around the world are starting to slowly acclimatize the public to the possibility that we are being visited.

I’m starting to question whether 4 years is enough time to get the public to the point where a full disclosure won’t cause traumatic side effects to the populace.

There are way too many groups that will be adversely affected by the disclosure.

Take your religious fanatics. What if the aliens state that their race has been around for roughly 2 million years and, frankly, they’ve seen nothing that would lead them to believe in God. Now what? Will they be labeled as Heretics? Called devil worshipers? What if they said “Dude, Evolution is real? We’ve been around for 2 million years, we’ve seen it in action. How will they react?

What if we discovered that the Human race was a genetic experiment by the aliens. How would Humans react to that now that it has become clear that genetic engineering is a sin?

What will happen if Islamists were to hear that they have also seen no evidence for Allah? Now what? Fatwa, off with their heads? How will they react?

How about world leaders? What if they tell us that our present form of governing is seriously flawed and not very conductive to the preservation of the species? Will they be called Communists? Fascists? Dictators? Hippy Freaks? How will they react?

What about the obscenely rich (wow, wasn’t that just made a sin?)? What if the aliens told them that hoarding all the money and therefore effectively the resources of the planet is not good for the future of mankind? Again, will they become Pinko-Commie-Fags? How will they react?

I’m starting to wonder if the Government is hiding the presence because they know it’s likely that the result IS going to be chaos.

What if you knew the earth is going to take a direct hit by a large meteor in ten years. And what if you knew that it would likely destroy most life on earth. And what if you knew that there was nothing that could be done to stop it. Should you go ahead and tell the public, knowing that chaos might ensue? Or do you let it happen and make an attempt to make life as comfortable as possible the last years?

Is it possible the Government is trying to keep us from knowing we are going to be facing the most traumatic event in the history of mankind in order to forestall the time of trauma and chaos as long as possible?

The amount of time required is equal to what needs be said. We live in a world based upon traveling across beams of light. Communication based frequencies filty the earth and we'd not be the same with out them. There's thousands of cable channels, cell phone signals, radio broadcast signals and the likes.

Men can hiJack these singnals if they wish, though they would get arested by the FCC or what ever. Aliens with much greater technologies and such could hijack the world's signal.

That's what will happen when the time is ripe. Imagine every channel on every televsion, every radio station, every cell phone all playing the same message. That message is what you need to know at the time you need to know it and that is what the disclosure will look like.

If you trust the message being broadcast is up to you.

Yeah, I'm imagining a "Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy" moment.

Another thought I had...

I personally think that the group least likely to be traumatized by disclosure would be Evil, Atheist Scientists.

Although that statement is a little Judgemental on your part.

You'd be wrong because the "Aliens" are going to be in suport of the "Urantia Book".

So the, as you put it, "Evil, Atheist Scientists", would find out too quickly they were wrong, and then they'd go about "debunking" the broadcast as swampgas.

Seems your response could be construed as a tad Judgmental too.

Oh, scientists are wrong!!! You’ll see!!!!

I'm a scientist kinda guy myself, so, I'm belivin' the aliens would be more science like.

However, I’ll bet you if they came today, we'd both be wrong.

Being alien, I'd bet everything about them is alien. Their understanding of reality from a scientific point of view.

If they have spiritual views, I'd bet they don't dovetail precisely with ours.

Their form of Government, assuming they have one, would probably be different.

I’m not so sure it’s a safe bet that that at least one group here on earth has the same views as a completely alien race. Might not be as simple as which one here was right all along.

I've looked around some. I've come to the realization that sciences including medicine and such are all the same. There's no facts, outside what was proven long ago. It's all each person trying to get a nut.

People provide their theory and then they search out "evidence" in suport of that theory. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes they are just wrong. Sometimes they can't see the forest for the tree or the trees for the forest.

We "humans" are diffrent. We being the same type being are not alike in every way. Aliens will be the same.

Check out that book, it is everything you need to know about them and what's going on.

Is it your opinion then that the “Urantia Book” is absolutely, 100%, infallibly correct in everything it says?

I mean, is there any possibility the author of the “Urantia Book” could be mistaken about any aspect of what He/She wrote in said book?

I use a word like "Orange", I subconsciously think back to that sunny day where I was a little child and I felt loved and the sun was shinging on some beautiful outing.

You hear "Orange" and subconsciously think about that christmas you wanted the Orange Shirt and upon returning to school were ridiculed by all the other children until you ran home crying with emotional scares.

The Word Orange doesn't care about your bad day nor my good day.

Only through the perspective of meaning do such word symbols take on deeper and hidden meanings within and then externalized.

The Urantia Book addresses this limitation to a language of a realm. In that context, all text is able to fail. When orange means something diffrent to me then it does to you, then lauguage fails. However the knowledge contained within the Urantia Book is more truth then most are able to see according to the realm of this section of the creation.

It all depends upon your perspective and what it is you're truly looking to see. I've seen people argue errors in the urantia book, but what I really see is people arguing, and at that arguing errors in their own logic understandings.

I think that certain people will never be ready to accept this as true. So this "4 years" makes no difference, they'll never be ready. I think most of the people who are ready, are ready now. The evidence is there to see. It's been painted in our caves for thousands of years. If you can't see that, then you ain't ready.

They will never come out and say. Everyone's view on things would change. People would drive around and people would kill for no reason, MASS PANIC can't you see it. Just like the old World of Wars Radio Broadcast....you see what happened? Lets see this happened again even worse. I think not.

The War of the Worlds argument holds no weight in the moderdays of desensitized generations.

Most of the people alive today wouldn't give a rats-bottom about the classic radio broadcast.

To the great majority of american youth I'm sure the whole truth about "UFOs" would be intresting for about 4 minutes and 12 seconds.

The only thing in our history we have to compare to UFO existence/presence today is when the Spanish/Europeans first showed up in the America's. I'm sure religions and theories were proven wrong, The Europeans had Guns, which the Native Americans (North and South America) didn't have at the time. Learning from what happened then, I am sure that it is the right thing to reveal ufo secrets. The Native American's were nearly wiped out because they were unorganized and their technology wasn't as advanced. Today, we humans are in the same position as the Native Americans. People from a "New World" are visiting our home. They clearly have better technology than us. And they aren't going to go away. Their prescence will be known sooner or later, might as well be now.

If the aliens are here and in contact with governments then a new question arises. How can we trust the government to do what is in mankinds best interest, if they won't even tell us what is going on?
