Pope Sylvester and the Leviathon

In Poland, New year's Eve is called St Sylvester's Eve. According to the legends surround this day, St. Sylvester imprisoned a dragon called Leviathan who was supposed to come out and basically destroy the world around 1000 ACE. Supposedly he imprisoned the dragon, and then revived the dragons' victims.

Interesting to me, is Leviathan is of course the famous monster in Revelations.
Aside from that, there is also the year, 1000. Funny how a thousand years later doom was again predicted and passed by.

I didn't really mean anything, it's just something I noticed, and thought it was interesting. Since so many people seem to be pulling up the signs of the end from revelations...
