I tried setting the service not to load at startup (automatic mode), but then when I tried to use VMware, it wouldn't load the process automatically as it should. This process uses too much ram, so I don't want it automatically loading at startup because I don't use VMware everyday.

Strange thing is... it doesn't always load... only when it feels like it. And only 1 of the 20 times it loads is a time I use VMware.

make sure it's not in your startup folder in your start menu first of all.

if it's not there then "start"->"run"-> msconfig

click the startup tab. that will show you most of the processes that are getting launched at windows startup. if you don't find it in there then you'll need to do some research to see how they're starting that process.

hope that helps!

Good idea! I don't know why I didn't think of that. I had tried disabling the services, but then the services wouldn't load with the program. This SHOULD work. Thanks!
