RTC, Great Lakes may be closed to visitors, guests andgraduation

Not sure if this is the correct forum or not.
This week family and friends of Naval recruits have received this notice:
(under Graduation): As a result of recent events, heightened security measures are in effect on all military installations. This means that there is the possibility that RTC, Great Lakes will be closed to visitors, and guests will not be permitted to view the graduation ceremony. Before making any travel plans, I encourage you to call the TRC at xxx(select option 3). If you have specific questions you may select option 4 to speak to an operator, additionally, the Command Duty Offer may be contacted at 874-xxxif you have further questions. If graduation is open to the public I strongly encourage you to attend.

It is interesting that this notice has not been in the new, nor are the US threat levels changed.
