And now, if we apply the standard rule that, if they are just now announcing this, that they must've had this tech for at least 20 years, we can see that there's no reason why we couldn't be winning wars everywhere without large numbers of armed people.

I remember seeing a TLC special about future weapons about 5 years ago that outlined this very thing. Talk about foreshadowing!!! I'm impressed!!
