Scientific studies backing paranormal studies?

Hey guys! I just found this site today and I'm in awe of it's magnitude of knowledge that have read so far. I'm currently doing a paper on paranormal studies, trying to prove to a vast array of uninformed people that is it possible to have "brain powers". I'm looking for any links to scientific research that I can prove this without a shadow of a doubt. I know you guys can help
