the signs are overwhelming.to predict,so many yers ago, so many things that are coming to pass couldn't possibally be coincidence.the rebuilding of the temple(a model exists which will take only a mattter od days to erect),the one world global economy and government, sociey being obessed by drugs(the bible uses the word wirchcraft in this particular case),mothers ,children suing parents in court, family members taking one another to court(see programs like judge judy and hatchett for these predictions) and so much more.those listed are a very few..the midddle east is also predicted and the wars thereof/russia is stepping in to fulfill it's own prophecy as well as syiria and the others.this couldn't possibally be coincidence.the united states economy is crumbling.so is the european economy as well as the middle east and EVERYPLACE that has an economy!!

talk of a global world government is on the books...also a one world economy system..many politicians believe this would be an advantage due to the crumbling state of the world's state of affairs/.

and the bail out bill that will bring about a socialist culture in the united states?? it will no doubt become the long term, normal way of life, not just temporary as some politicians claim./
that in itself is to attract more propecy fullfilment..understand what socialism is and how it would fulfill prophecy via the united states./it's more than just interesting/.
and people say that the bible's predictions are mere coincidince??

i've only listed a few here...if you really do some deep reading and compare what you read to reality,it becomes less the cartoon some believe it to be!! not so much the fairytale suitable only for children's sections as many non believers seem to believe./

Jesus siad he's the way,.that he's the door we have to pass through.i'm not talking legalism..god isn't judging one's eternal location based on what kind of movies one watches or the music one listens too,as alot of evangelists's claim!! it's the acceptance of him as being one's saviour, relying on him and turning from the liberal "anything goes" attitude..me-ism..

prophecy will cntinue to be fulfilled now and i believe more than ever people will see the signs directly in front of them but still reject the truth about them.
while there will be others who have the discernment to know otherwise/.

I feel I must respond to all these people who say all these things have been going on since Jesus said them. That is true except the very last verse.

Matthew 24 (Amplified Bible)

3While He was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately and said, Tell us, when will this take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end (the completion, the consummation) of the age?
4Jesus answered them, Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error].
5For many will come in (on the strength of) My name [appropriating the name which belongs to Me], saying, I am the Christ (the Messiah), and they will lead many astray.
6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place;
8All this is but the beginning [the early pains] of the birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish].
9Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
10And then many will be offended and repelled and will begin to distrust and desert [Him Whom they ought to trust and obey] and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred.
11And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error.
12And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity,
13But he who endures to the end will be saved.
14And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.

Only in about the last 100 years have we been able get to verse 14, through modern technology such as the internet, and the translation of the bible into many different languages, and the mass printing and distribution of bibles.

For example www.biblegateway.com... (Different languages)

The fact is many area's of the world had no access to information about Jesus, now all they need is a internet connection.

If you understand what this scripture says then you know that we are almost there, and the end will come, as it says. It will come when God is satisfied that the Gospel has been preached enough throughout this planet.

This begs the question which Christians are actually trying to help fulfill that verse?

Yes, Blue_Jay33, you brought out a great point and you are correct in your statements regarding the day and age we live in and the technological doorway we now have in spreading the Good News.

Disgustipated:

Yes, we are in the evening of the end times. All the signs are now appearing. I am so pleased that you are thinking upon these things. May the Lord's spirit touch your spirit in a beautiful way. There are many god-believing Christians on ATS and BTS if you ever need to reach out to one of us.

We are living between two advents of Christ into this world. At first he appeared incarnate to reveal the way of salvation and to make atonement for sin. He will come again at some future time in great power and glory to raise the dead, judge the world, and destroy the earth. No one knows when his Second Advent will happen, not even Jesus, only the Father. The Bible says he will come as a thief in the night.

I believe the rapture will happen before the tribulation and before the anti-Christ takes power. I am not sure on that, some believe it could happen during the tribulation period. I just hope to be one that is "caught up in the air" with Christ at that time.

I would keep a close eye out as to what happens in the middle east. Things our about to bubble over in that area.

Also, what is happening all over with the money situation. That is scary! I believe that here in the US and maybe world wide, that we are really in for a wild ride. I am so thankful that I can trust my Lord in these days.

Peace to you,
Grandma

The rapture is going to happen soon because Jesus promised us that he will come back. "Surely I come quickly. Amen" Revelation 22:20. And all the believers will feel the holy spirit letting us know to prepare which I feel god tugging at my heart all the time. So lets all read our bibles and be closer to God because we'll be with him soon

Agreed. This also co-relates to many running to and fro, and knowledge being increased. Computers and the Internet have made this possible like NEVER before.
