Isn´t that just inventions by great Arabic and Persian minds?

Remember that ´muslim´,the same as ´christian´, is
´an opinion based on speculation and conjecture´ and in no way a geographical location.

To my mind,the abrahamic relgious sects/cults have impeded the progress of freethinking,rational,scientific enquiry far more than they have helped it.

Two things come to mind...the game of Chess, and Alchemy, which later became Chemistry. The Muslim Culture is not in the Dark Ages still, and some would have you believe, they are an intelligent people who have contributed a lot to the world as a whole.

The Muslim world did not invent chess, but they did adopt the game after conquering Persia, and they introduced it into Europe.

Just like Tesla didn't invent alternating current. But he saw its potential and now it's driving the world. And we consider him a genius for that.

Chess was being played, in its original form, before Islam was founded. So, to say that Muslims invented chess would be wrong.

The real answer is NOTHING, mohammed learnt everything from other cultures and religions around the world. The myans invented zero.
