Hi all!

It's been a few years since I had a nice holiday so it's about that time to start thinking about getting away and wondered what places people recommend?

I'm wanting to go all inclusive and was thinking something like the bahamas around August/September, but apparently this is around tornado season. Is it really a gamble with the weather going around that time?

I'm open to hear any recommendations on where to go on this planet! I'm after sun and beaches but would also like some interesting sights!

Hi. Well, since you were thinking about the Bahamas you probably will not like my idea, but here it is.

ALASKA

Ok, I hate, hate, hate the cold weather, which is tough since I live in the midwest. My idea of a vacation is an all inclusive where I can park myself on a beach and not get up. However, my aunt and I (not taking the husband and kids on this one :pbjtime
are planning a trip next February to Fairbanks to view the aurora, the glaciers and visit Denali National Park.

I thought we would fly in for a couple of days, (hopefully) see the aurora and leave, but the more we plan, the longer we want to stay. Alaska is breathtaking and I can't wait to be a part of it.

I'm sure it's not a popular idea, but an idea nonetheless.

For what it's worth, Cozumel is unbelievable. The beaches are awesome, the weather is great. The diving and snorkeling are outstanding, and as far as partying goes............. AIY CHI WAWA!!!!!!
I've been there several times, and every time I find another diamond in the rough as fas as sightseeing/partying goes. Fredrickos just 5minutes off of the main drag had the most awesome seafood I've ever seen. It was basically a large deck on the front of a house. The lobster tails were as big as a cat. They had PITCHERS of Moet Chandon Champagne with a bunch of strawberries in it. A local playing a guitar and singing - and he was awesome - serenaded your table.
Check out Cozumel.

How about Cuba? Or Cancun in Mexico (think thats how it’s spelt), It’s cheap, Beaches, Sun and you can get all inclusive cheap packages from the UK (include flights, hotels, meals etc etc), First Choice and Falcon Travel (JWT) have good deals.

Of you could try Egypt, it has beaches and sights, and again, the above companies in the UK offer great packages.

Have fun where ever you head to.

I've always wanted to go to the Seychelles. I've seen alot of documentaries about it and especially the tourist aspect of the Seychelles.

It's supposed to be the next best thing to dying and going to heaven...

Worth the post to suggest to you to check it out.... and if you have room I'll hide in your suitcase. j/k
