Im still torn on Mabus being sadam, or literally Ray Mabus.

As of right now, Im leaning at the quatrain referring to Sadam and may have come to pass.

Mabus then will soon die, there will come

Mabus IS Ray Mabus. Ray Mabus is the 75th United States Secretary of the Navy, currently in charge of handling the Oil Spill going on in the Gulf.

A HORRIBLE UNDOING OF PEOPLE AND ANIMALS.

Undoing does not imply death alone. It could be a financial ruin of local business in the Gulf. However, this could be worse:

BP is far more involved in the last 100 years of history than it should be as an oil company, and it obviously has shady Government ties. You have to consider that this may very well be an attack on the U.S. from BP. Which is why they have lied, why the oil well is not plugged up, and why they are even considering nuclear bombs for cleanup.
They attempted to take out our economy, and it didn't work. Now this.

The thing about fate and destiny and predictions: They aren't exact, we can change the outcome.
Even Nostradamus believed we had the ability to change the outcome, and he believed that we would be judged based on our decisions. What he did was point out the major choices we'd be faced with, so we could be prepared. He was warning us, why else write them down?

Sounds to me like soon after the death of Mabus (a timemarker) a comet will pass extremely close or even impact the earth. It will kill huge numbers of people and animals and cause immediate and unprecedented earth changes that shall affect the entire planet. Possibly a fiery impact that will scorch the earth and evaporate the waters.

I can see how if one thinks The Clintons and Obama is are antichrists than it would be kind of easy to see Mabus as one too. However I have a feeling that Mabus is not the evil tyrant kind with the likes of saddam, or osama.....in fact I think Mabus is what is keeping things from unraveling into chaos.

Nowhere in the quatrains does nostradamus articulates that Mabus is the antichrist. Just says that after he dies "A horrible undoing of people and animals".

Guess we have to wait and see what happens when he dies...

If he dons the cap of the UN at any point in his career then the prophecy will be fulfilled.
The UN sport blue helmets which to the eye of a 17th century man could appear to resemble a turban.
So let us hope he isn't a member of the UN .

As I said, a modern military UN helmet could be seen to resemble a turban to a man of nostradamus period.
