Hi Neighbor.

You must be younger than me. I remember growing up in the 70's freezing my butt off and there being snow from late October till Early/Mid March. There was almost always some snow on the ground the whole Winter, not like now where you get a warm snap to melt it.

And I do remember news reports claiming Global cooling and even colder weather comming was a possibility. My, how times change.

Record Snow Fall

This is a very interesting year in Michigan. I remember in the 90's I would dream of a good snow fall. Now I can do without them for a while. Although I do like it when we get nailed with 6 or more inches at a time. There is nothing like a good snow fall to keep the politicans away...

"It's just as you suspected - this has been the snowiest winter ever in the Ann Arbor area, or at least since 1880 when record-keeping started."

I grew up by the sea and there are some rocks at a swimming hole where I can gauge sea levels.

Rather than witnessing rising sea levels I can see for myself that sea levels have not risen since 1970.

I too remember all the talk in the 1970s of a coming Ice Age. The 1980s were warmer.

I don't dispute high levels of carbon dioxide. I just doubt you can link it to anything.

It's not that sea levels wont rise , or have not, but that try as they have the global warming ( or wait it's 'global climate change' now that warming can't seem to be validated) can't seem to make it rise as fast as they would like.
As almost always the wiki people have put together a good set of information here:

en.wikipedia.org...

So it's unlikely that many if any species of animals are going to drown due to the supposedly fast rising sea levels.
