Vote "None of the Above" Since They're All Liars

When it comes to voting the dumbest thing I have ever heard was vote for the lesser of the two evils. Now why the heck would I want to vote for evil? And I thought we lived in a free country and democracy. So if I don't want to vote then I won't. Most of the top candidates are millionaires who just want power anyway.

I don't see how much worse it can get really. To me Hillary Clinton is a vote for her corrupt and pointless husband, only more corrupt but just as lamely moderate.

McCain is basically a Democrat from a few decades ago. Socially conservative and economically liberal, which is totally backwards to me.

Obama, on the other hand, is truly liberal, truly pushing for more Federal Government, and has a dangerous "you can't tarnish me" image that I've seen dispel logic and reason at a moments notice.

I think he would effectively end the US, although we have been on that path since Lincoln.

The reason I initiated this thread was more or less to make people think about their options.

Yes, you have the option to vote, Giulliani.

Yes, you have the option to vote, McCain.

Yes, you have the option to vote, "None of the Above."

Who are you voting for? The lesser of two evils? How is that any better than voting for evil, if you are still voting for evil? Go back and look at Clinton's, Obama's, Guilliani's, and McCain's histories, and see their track record. Just make an informed decision based of facts and track record, NOT just on a sound bite or two. Put all of those things together, and make an intelligent decision.

I am voting for my cat. He sees things that I and others can't see (and likely aren't even there). He is very cautious about his decisions (or just really dumb and doesn't know what he wants). He will answer the phone at 3 am (he is nocturnal and this wouldn't even bother him). He would be our first neutered president (if you leave out the presidents in the past 100 years). He's got the experience (he's like 70 years old in cat years).

My candidate is a visionary, cautious, and outspoken individual. Answering the 3am call will be nothing because he likes to stay up. He is more honorable than the other candidates. VOTE FOR MY CAT 08!!!

Seriously though, I would vote for my cat over anyone else put in front of me.

I honestly hate the saying "the lesser of two evils" when someone says who they are voting for.

I know that's an old fashioned say, and a quaint old adage, but does it really fit?

The lesser of two evils, is still evil, is it not?

In the last election I voted Libertarian. I'm not thrilled with Bob Barr this year (we differ on more than a couple things) and Ron Paul is endorsing the Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin, but I'm not sold on him either.

But...I'm definitely not sold on the Republicrat candidates. I'm scared to think what America could become under Obama and McCain would be almost as much of a disaster.

I've always said to stand up and vote for what you believe in and the person that holds (mostly) your beliefs. But I've started to think that more and more the country will be worse off with Obama. Should I vote for McCain to try to stop that from happening? I don't like him. I don't like his policies. I don't want him for president. But in all honesty, it will be one or the other, not the guy I want to vote for.

In the end, I don't think I can vote for McCain or Obama. I'll choose the one that I'm most aligned with and hope for the best. All I can say is that I tried and I didn't sell out or succumb to the "lesser of two evils" method of voting which is what is killing this country.

Dunno.....the whole thing just disgusts me.
