My first "encounter"...

When I was probably between the ages of 10-12 my buddy and I were fairly “interested” in aliens and life outside this planet! We decided to camp out in my back yard (which slightly discredits what happens I know) and basically got EXACTLY what we were looking for!

I am going to lay out the facts as apposed to my own personal belief as to what happened because I was young and we were actually looking for what I truly believe we found…

I grew up in a small town southwest of Chicago… we were surrounded by forest and wide open grass fields…

We were telling stories and laughing away having a great time when we both saw an EXTREMELY bright light come from they sky to the ground very quickly… We mostly just saw a large blur and it instantly caught both our attention… It was actually bright enough to light up the yard like lightening for a moment and if it were not for what happened next, I might have believed that’s what it was…

We saw where the “light” hit the ground and we stood jaws dropped staring waiting for something else to happen… moments later, this “light” lifted straight up into the sky, fast… but we were able to watch it clearly this time! It went up (if I were to guess) 1000 feet (and that is totally a guess) but it just stopped for a moment… We saw what looked like a bright white light in the shape of a fairly large circle and then in a blur… it was gone, up and away from us!

We ran inside to tell my parents and of course… they just laughed and told us to go back outside and maybe they would come back…

We fell asleep and the next morning at the crack of dawn we both ran out to where this “light” touched down… Not to our surprise we saw a large (about the size of a really big above ground pool) round imprint in the ground… The grass was all completely smashed and very dead (almost burned, but not quite it is hard to explain) we asked all the neighbors and this guy who owned the field if they had done something to create this “imprint” at a later date and nobody new…

On our way back to my house we noticed something very strange all over the fields… The grass was pressed down as if somebody flattened it all over the place, it formed what seemed to be large crosses… We climbed some large trees and noticed that both fields were covered with these crosses! (we lived in these fields every day, it is where we played and we WOULD HAVE noticed it if it was like it even the day before)

Curious we started to dig in the very middle of these crosses and as we started to dig, we noticed what seemed to be 1000’s of birds flying in and landing on all the trees surrounding us (my hair is actually standing up as I am typing this because of how I remember it) they were ALL looking right at us and began to chirp or squawk very loudly and we both got overwhelmed with fear! We had to stop digging, we couldn’t even help it! (I was a brave kid too, nothing really scared me at that age… we used to sneak out in the middle of the night and go out into graveyards and everything else… this was like a fear I had never felt)

Those are the facts… give me feedback! What do you guys think? I will reply with what we thought the facts meant at the time, and what I still believe to this day!

I completely think what you saw was real. I've heard this story from him since I met him two years ago. The crosses is what interest me, like what was buried underneath them. I forgot to ask, did you ever go back to that place? in reference to the other poster, the town was about 30-40 miles south west of chicago and about 15 years ago it was nothing but fields and forest...
He took me by where this happened and of course there is now a housing development in its place!
I for one believe him...

Well yeah baby... we went back there all the time! We played in those fields every day!

There are houses where the light hit the ground... but... there is still one open field where the crosses were... I can take you there and show you! I can also show you the exact spot where the "touch down" was! It's in this one guys back yard, but I know him so it's all good!

All the trees that were filled with birds when we were digging are still there so you can real get a feel for our experience if you go out there!

alright dear then take me on sunday!! Maybe after were all done with our events and stuff??? I can't wait to go. I'd say we'd take pictures just to show on here but maybe we can dig??? if you remember where????? who knows? Then we'll post on ats. by the way remember how i did that argonne department of homeland security study? well I'm 99% sure the guy that debriefed me one on one just walked ino the library's internet lab about forty minutes after i got here. He's sitting kinda kiddie corner behind me though. I'm 99% sure that its him. He works an hour away almost what's he doing here? I'm sure he has a working home computer!!!!!!! it's freaking me out! sorry to get off the topic. but we'll go, dig, take pics and post the findings here. sound good everyone?

Okay baby... after our "events" if you still have energy we will go check it out sunday in the middle of the night! lol

I would love to take pics for everybody but I have to go pick me up a new digital camera I no longer own one... You know why!
