Indiana Jones @ Roswell!

So on the trailer for the new movie..
if you freeze frame the shot of Kate Blanchett next to a green crate it says "Roswell NM" !!! So is spielberg maybe on the trail of some kinda disclosure project by the government to open this thing up finally??!

Now that would be a cool story. The movies take place during that time period.

Yep its absolutely gonna be about Aliens..
this is the FOURTH time spielberg has dealt with Aliens..will this finally cement it in the general publics pysche as a SERIOUS subject

I don't think the locale is at Roswell, but whatever is in the crate is from Roswell. It's the same government archive where the Ark is stored I believe. And I don't think aliens are involved, but I have been known to be wrong...............at least once in a millenia.

I thought I read somewhere that IJ steals the Ark back from a government facility.

If you look at the poster..the Crystal Skull resembles a "grey" with the slanted oversized eye sockets and head proportions..

Actually that movie is based on the "Chariots of the God" story and the first scene of the movie should be in Area51, so yes the movie might deal with aliens in a more or less direct sense.

Not sure if greys have chompers or not.

Edit: And for the record, Area 51 is not Roswell.

The Orbital surface (eye socket) is much more elongated in keeping with the
"greys" we know have slanted elongated eyes.
The inferior Nasal Concha is also a lot smaller than human kind, not to mention the Mandible, frontal process & Anterior Nasal Spine are all much smaller than a human and out of proportion. Most definitely an Alien skull.

Also check out the screen shot..the labeling on the box places it at or near Roswell, Im sure they will twist in Area51's founding somehow!

Given that and the skull its a sure thing to feature the alien story heavily.

I have to offer my two cents, here: one scene in the movie was filmed in Deming, New Mexico--a town in the same southern half of the State of New Mexico as the city of Roswell.

In other words, given that a scene from the movie was filmed in New Mexico, it's not much of a stretch for something marked "Roswell" to have accidentally ended up in the movie.

Uhm that shot is very deliberately & prominently filmed.there is no accidents in a spielberg movie. And also in that shot the glasses of the character are magnetically pulled to the crate/box. Another accident..or are all the crates in roswell energised with electromagnets..
