Saturn’s orange moon Titan has hundreds of times more liquid hydrocarbons than all the known oil and natural gas reserves on Earth, according to new Cassini data. The hydrocarbons rain from the sky, collecting in vast deposits that form lakes and dunes.

Pretty amazing with some interesting implications...

First, so is all of our oil really a byproduct of prehistoric plant and disnosaur decay as we were taught in school?

Second, how long before we could mine Titan for even more expensive oil and postpone switching to a cleaner energy system?

Third, life?
