The OneCAT - A Five-seat concept car that runs on air

An engineer has promised that within a year he will start selling a car that runs on compressed air, producing no emissions at all in town.

The OneCAT will be a five-seater with a glass fibre body, weighing just 350kg and could cost just over £2,500.

It will be driven by compressed air stored in carbon-fibre tanks built into the chassis.

Like the government will allow it to happen, they will loose too much money. It will be just like taht guy who invented a car that could run on water, he was then killed in a “suspicious accident”.

Would be excellent if it does become a reality though.

Yeah... sounds like an interesting venture I just don't want to get too excited. You never know when someone is gonna throw hell upon him. They are bound to come up wih some excuse...

This guy must have some balls as he has come forward quite publicly. Hopfeully this will be enough to protect him and preserve his idea in the mainstream.

Only time will tell. He hopes to have the vehicle ready for sales within a year. If successful, I should imagine that the OneCAT will be mass marke after 5 years or so.
