I used to play a lot back in the day with a level 20-something Dwarve Paladin. Those were some strange times.

Anyone else have experience?

I used to play, I had a 58 human warrior, but then I got sick of the game. Man strange times that they were....

Yeah, this game gets pretty dull pretty quickly, most of the quests are the same, and the community is terrible and very immature.

That's me and my girl's impression of it anyway.

Oh and the leeroy jenkins video as we see it was actually 'setup' but was based on real events in the game!

It's staged? I heard this also, but haven't seen any further evidence.

In any case, Leroy Jenkins just pulled a Chuck Norris.

I mostly stopped playing because it wasn't sociable enough for me (however, the higher the level the better because of raids etc), and it was taking over.

Im at work so i cant see the vid, but im guessing its the vid of a raid and the chr leeroy just gets up and runs straight into a fight agro'ing all the other NPCs, ultimately killing the entire raid?

It was funny when it first showed up...

I hate WOW.

Yeah, the vid turned out to be fake, just as a joke vid to post over on the WoW forums. You can tell mainly because all those "numbers" they were speaking of in the beginning was just nonsense, it didn't mean anything.

Ahhh beautiful....A classic....Brought a tear to my eye, and I never even got into WOW.

But I have seen many a Leroy Jenkins in my time all throughout many games. So I know that they exist, because I have died more then a couple of times because of them.

I played EQ and got addicted, so never went into the WoW addiction phase (plus got married and all that)

I definitely remember many Leeroy Jenkins type moments in EQ though, heck, even in just pen and paper RPGs, when some dumb oaf ruins my carefully constructed strategy, hehe....

It's all good fun though. Anyone who's ever experienced this kind of thing can really appreciate the humor, and stupidity of Leeroy's actions. The cry of Leeroy Jenkins is now pretty much part of pop culture, or at least geek culture...

Yeah...its what happens when you grow old...

Had a cool moment few days ago, was bored out of mind, actually made a tread about me being bored but that was trashed and got multikilled with points ..lol..but thats beside the point, getting back to my post, well as i said i was bored so i plugged in my external hdd and fired up any game i saw. It happened to be Battlefield MW2, so i begun playing for about an hour then i seen a quick message for an invite into team speak...so yeah..me being uber gamer i jumped on the invite.

So here i am within a TS server and the admin asks, how old are you mate ? , so i replied 19. (lol) , so the admin replies..cool enjoy the game or ill ban your a$$ if you f@ck up..i kinda lol'd at him. Anyway to make a long story short and while on ts server..i kinda let out a leeerrroooyyy jenkins..and the admins was like...wtf dude...hahahahaha...so yeah i told him my real age only to find out his was a sweet decade older than me...lol...

The point of my post is, no matter what age you are, if you dont know Lerroorryyy...your simply not a gamer. :-p
