"Crackpot" is a matter of opinion. In my opinion yes, Ron Paul is a crackpot, but in a well-intentioned, curmudgeonly sort of way. He reminds me of my grandfather, actually, except he actually has been elected to congress instead of writing letters to congress about everything from Walmart and garbage pick-up to potholes and shopping carts.

Every historical reference Paul cites is spot on, and in my opinion he's probably right in saying that from an economic standpoint it would have been cheaper to buy all the slaves and set them free than to engage in a long, bloody, expensive civil war.

At least he's a crackpot who's read both history and the Constitution...

I don't know if I agree with that statement
but I do think his policies will help this country
a he|| of a lot more than Bush's did.

I am in support of many of Ron Pauls ideas such as bringing back the gold standard. From what I hear I don't think he's a crackpot. I don't know for sure as Australia news has given him no coverage so my only source of info is the internet. Due to lack of time I don't know to much about him.

Edit: BTW truth mabye you should look for a smaller signature that things huge. IMHO you should shorten it to "No matter how hard you try you can't stop us now" From Renegades. Just my opinion
