This is the first time, as everybody knows, in Superbowl history that a team that went undefeated in the regular season and the playoffs lost in THE
GAME. This was not, however the first time that it has happened in NFL history. Way back in 1934, the Chicago Bears went 13-0 in the regular season to
earn a spot in the NFL Championship game, which they then lost 30-13. And the team that beat Chicago back then? Why, of course, THE NEW YORK
GIANTS!!!!!! Coincidence? Lightning striking twice? Both in 1934 and in this years Superbowl, the Giants were longshots. In 1934, the NY Giants were
8-5. This year they were 10-6. Both seasons were improbable. Both victories were improbable, too. But them Giants did it both times.
