I dunno...i am gonna have to look at that image myself. But it seems like he is pointing some jpeg artifact.

Then again, he is ignoring some much more obvious "structures" on the upper portion of this crater, which are classical jpeg artifact examples.

What impresses me the most is how well his computer ran. I mean, he opened that photo and BOOM, it just popped right up.

OK,I bit. First off, the video is kinda crappy as he is filming his monitor, which lowers resolution even more. But I listened to his speach, and found the picture in question...




What do I see? Compression artifacts. This guy hasn't a clue what he's doing.

How can you see the evidence yourself if someone else showed it to you first?
Nothing more than jpeg compression artifacts to me. Youtube is damn near worthless for this type of stuff.

youtube you cant see anything, although I got that same image myself I found through ESA and I found literally nothing on it but one object in the north along the crater of some interest, thats about it. I dont know what that guy sees, but I think its just plain nothing, I think hes delusional if I should say so.

What one have to keep in mind is that its NOT a "direct feed satellite" image, sort of speak. Its a process in which they've made a 3D mesh and and slapped a texture on (which is of lower resolution than the original ESA grayscale satellite image) and then this has been rendered from an angle. Where the artifacts appeared is hard to say, but here's the hard fact:

In the original higher resolution ESA image there are little in the way of these artifacts... I cant see any anyway. A clear sign that they have been produced.

Downloaded looked at in cs2 nothing really to see, one thing though blue/lilac blob top middle-ish unusual I think. You need to magnify the image a few times to see it.

Apart from that nothing.
