I was thinking about this Stephensville UFO incident. And my theory is that whatever this thing was, it was probably ours. The military was out testing it and they got caught.

My question is a logistical one. What do you do if you're the military? They probably paid billions for this thing. It is essential that they be able to take it out for a spin and see how it performs in real world situations. But they can't anymore. They screwed up by being seen. Now it will be impossible to test this thing because for at least a few years this Stephensville incident will be in everybody's mind and everyone in the area will be ready this time. The military can't afford a second Stephensville so soon after this one - the attention would probably quadrouple.

If you're the military you just lost yourself a few years of possible test flights. What do you do now?

I think if it is military, it depends on if being seen was a malfunction of the technology or part of the plan, disinfo is a great thing for the armed forces. Was it a UFO was it US Secret, either way it keeps your enemies thinking. IF and I do mean IF it was anything at all.

But if it was and it was a mistake it was seen, Most likely they would ship it to a different base. People here on ATS may remember it for some time, but go ask the normal Joe/Jane on the street, and they may say yea I heard something about that, maybe, but you really think they are looking in the sky any more. Most don't care and do not even remember where or when it happened and what the craft was described as, give it 6 months and it will be a total blank for most. Then go on as business as usual.

IMHO

Nothing, just keep-on keep'n-on like they have for the last 70 years.

Agreed. The UFO situation is a cover for any secret military testing.

And if they consider it an actual UFO incident then the continuing refusal to dicuss the matter will suffice.

This silence, however, is long past being obnoxious and arrogant.

It's not military. Cutting edge technology is not tested in the middle of Texas. There are plenty of testing reservations where prying eyes have no chance of seeing anything.

Or do you think the military/Nasa/blackop sector is so stupid that they thought no one would be looking up in Texas.

More likely that the military got caught with their pants down and are trying to cover thier butt by saying "see were on the job, no worries, we have eveything undercontrol, go back to your mundane lives, nothing to see here."

I never trust anything the military, NASA, or the US government has to say as they have proven that they lie to the American taxpayers over and over again.

Choronzon nailed it.

I say, you keep flying your jets...

The military was not flying any kind of special craft over Texas. I would believe it was a alien based UFO (even with no pictures, real movies..ect) before I would believe Texas became a testing ground.

There are rules and regulations against such a thing. Yes, civilians getting hurt is one, but secrecy is anothery. Anything the public thinks is new and cutting edge is at least 5 years old in the military. Anything the public finds out gets posted on the internet for America's enemies to plainly see. That is the main reason.

To the people in the military that are lying/denying and harrassing ufo witnesses i would advice them the following:

Watch this movie and replace marketing with military.

I would have to agree that the craft Ricky Sorrells saw is not military technology.

What does the military do from here? Keep on keeping quiet. I've emailed the 301st Public Affairs several times in the past week and not received a single reply. I also emailed the chief public affairs major himself and no reply.

They said they were flying F-16s and that's all they're gonna say no matter if the huge craft is theirs or Extraterrestrial.

Regarding sending the aircraft somewhere else... If this thing is as big as some people say it was, how do you ship a mile long ship to another base (without being seen) - even when it's dark?

That's the only thing that makes me think it was a UFO. Because if it was a mile long, where was it housed? Who has the capacity, even the military, to keep a mile long ship hidden? I know most people around here assume that drilling into mountains is easy - but creating a cavern big enough to house that thing would take more than your average cavernous mounain. That's bigger than 30 of the biggest warehouses combined.

Then again, a "mile long" may have been an exagerrated estimate.
