Not sure if this is what the guy wanna show, but on the the upper part of the screen a kind of circus-like stuff - I mean a circus tent or something - seems to hide some naughty learological XO party.

I'm sure John will be gentle enough to give us his take on this.

For reference, another amateur with a 10" telescope took this picture of the Clavius area.

Ok, so it's not a circus tent, it's a huge, eroded ancient ziggurat. I take it your point being that it couldn't thus serve for lunar atmospheric-heavy-breathing pole-dancing rites, under an ochre sky? --I find that rather hard to believe.

Seriously, that's a big, weird lunar lump in any event. What do NASA & friends say it is?

Every moon picture I've ever seen is not solid enough to base any actual accounts of actual devices on the moon... Like Hoagland said, there are shapes and points of interest, but nothing can really be determined by the photo's provided by John or anyone else, that I've found so far... I've looked at them all too, over and over and over... They all look like rocks and natural occurances to me... Like buildings in the middle of craters, looks more like what would happen if a meteor hit and turned instantly into liquid rock then like a water drop hitting the surface rose from the center and bubbled out creating a natural formation in the middle of the craters... Not that I don't believe some of what John has to say, but as far as moon photo's are concerned there's nothing you can really see... sorry..

Maybe I'm just blind, but sorry John I don't see what you see...

Wow a reasonable person. A rare bird indeed on ATS! Thank you for your well thought comments, and welcome. I am a new member too and have the same opinion on what has been presented as evidence of structures and artifacts on the moon. Rocks and craters come in all sizes and shapes, they are not evidence of any ancient artifacts or current activities on the moon.
