This pertinent question has long been one of mine. Why are the controllers so adament about not having green power? When tech is first developed and used, it is always the most expensive. As it is placed in use, the cost goes down, when mass production picks up. Before electricity and natural gas lines, Holland was full of windmills the people built themselves, for very effective, efficient power generation. They also used water power individuals constructed themselves.

What would happen if people started investing in their own energy generation at a lower cost? Neighborhoods could pool their resources and co-op for their own neighborhood power generation, provided free of cost by nature. It would pay for itself in no time, and be much more cost effective if local neighborhoods invested in such energy strategy.

The technology has been there for a very long time - primitive through sophiticated. The cost is normally prohibitive to individuals in the more recent modern age of urban development and sprawl.

Again, I haven't the time to read the whole thread here, but wanted to interject the idea that it won't be nuclear - it will be biologic. I am not sure if this will be so, but it seems to me that if the goal is to take out millions of people, a deadly virus or bacterium (with antidotes available to the elect few) would be the way to go.

After all, the planet needs to be reduced in human population so that the tablets' injunction to keep the population below 500,000,000 makes sense. (Where were those tablets...? Georgia? Can't remember.)

Anyway, something to think about.

Then you have misunderstood the gist of this thread. Yes, some posters would like to see destruction and devastation, but that is not what this thread is about. We are speculating to give us a better idea on what areas to avoid or how better to prepare and protect ourselves.

If blowing a city up is in their plans, then those people are the most evil creatues ever, and soon this evil will end so dont worry about that...
