I was reading about asteroid Tu24 a little bit ago and went to a page that shows the earth's magnetosphere and the related data associated with it.
I do not really know what I am looking at but because the data is updated in what appears to be 20 minute intervals I was able to look at the
"Pressure" and "Magnetic Field" diagrams for the last few days and compare them. It appears that the "Pressure" diagram shows that the pressure
of the earth's magnetosphere has increased a lot (?) recently. I was wondering if this could possibly be attributed to the asteroid Tu24.

Obviously you can see a difference but I have no clue what it means. Can someone tell me if this is just a normal cycle or if this is irregular?
Also if possible please explain the "Magnetic Field" diagram. When the pressure increased earlier it looked like there was a direct corelation with
the "Dens. (p/cc)" diagram. I assume that this is density and I can guess that an increase in density would create increased pressure, but what
causes increased density?
This asteroid has made me more interested in this field and would appreciate any information from anyone out there. Thanks.
