flouride has been proven to be useful in our bodies in small ammounts... like for instance in the qauntities found in water. its totally harmless. also if you haven't noticed its in toothpaste too.

Sodium fluoride was, for years, THE active ingredient in rat poison; 99.9% being inactive "filler'. It is a poison, make no mistake about it. See the MSDS here. I've not used fluoridated toothpaste in over 25 years and have not had a single cavity since I quit using fluoride in toothpaste. It is a chemical lobotomy. Why would anyone put something that is labeled as "harmful or fatal if swallowed" in toothpaste or water?

The real reason water is fluoridated, is that fluorine, will bind with certain radioisotopes, from fall out, and help flush them out of the body, same with iodide in salt.

If you do some reaserch you will find that both of these chemicals were added to their respective products in the fifties, when the threat of nuclear war was an everyday concern.

You do realize that fluorine is different that fluoride? The fifties were a long time ago and I don't think we have to worry about Russia nuking us. Fluorine is not any healthier. You can see the info here.
