Mysterious Force Disrupts Vehicles Near Empire State Building

Dubbed the “Empire State Building Effect."

The famous skyscraper may really be Manhattan’s version of the Bermuda Triangle.

Every day about 10-15 cars and trucks simply stop working within a 5-block radius.

The alleged “effect” dissipates rapidly as you move away from the building. “You pull the car four or five blocks to the west or east and the car starts right up,” says the manager of Citywide Towing.

The FCC says it has not received any complaints.

A neutron bomb in the Empire State Building leaking? If it's a device inside the Empire State Building we'll see what it is before the end of Bush's term.

Could be a bunch of electrical wiring all bunched together, creating a huge electromagnetic field that shuts cars off as they approach it. This is merely one of a large number of possibilities though.
