Iran or North Korea rearming Syrian Navy? (Google Earth)

Google Earth shows three torpedo boats in a Syrian port, that are 21m long and closely match the Tir class. Iran got Tir class from North Korea, but apparently also has production capability so supplier could be either.


I can't find any references to Syria operating Tir.

According to Janes.com 'they were delivered in mid-2006' and were 'probably built by Iran'.
