U.F.O Sighting

Right before you get to excited I don't mean the alien flying saucer kind or maybe I do because honestly I dont know, about 2 and a half hours ago I was driving home from Kent to Devon in England, the sun was setting at around this time there wasn't many clouds in the sky.

I have no idea how far up it was it must of been a few thousand feet but there was definitely some sort of thing in the sky, from first sight I thought maybe it was a meteor because it had a huge trail behind it I am not sure of the actual word for it vapor trail? I dont know.
Anyway within 5mins it was gone heading towards Dartmoor it was an orangey color but that could of been because the sun was setting, if it was a few thousand feet up moving as fast as it was and that large than I have no idea as to what it was in actual size.
My guess is as large as a football pitch, anyway I think it was burning up in the atmosphere so probably a meteor.
My other theory is the American spy satellite or at least thats what the media have called it honestly why they would tell us they had a spy satellite up there is beyond me so probably a cover up of something else they was expecting to crash that they didn't want us knowing about.

I think the satellite is not due to come down until Febuary or early march they are reporting, so you can rule that out, Meteorites move really really fast as im sure you have seen shooting stars? they begin to slow down in the atmosphere and start to burn and dropping small quantities of themselves as they do, so if you saw it for five mins i think you may be able to discount one of those also.

I suppose you can def call it a UFO maybe not alien but def a UFO, my only other thought is a military aircraft if it was moving really quickly apart from that i cant really be of help, maybe someone else from England saw it?

Could've possibly been a satellite in low orbit with the sun reflecting off of it. Was the speed consistent?
