Is The Internet Linked To Welsh Suicides?

www.cbsnews.com

CBS) A small town in Wales is dealing with a string of suicides that some believe is Internet-related.

CBS News correspondent Richard Roth reports that the latest victim was 17-year-old Natasha Randall; she hanged herself in the bedroom of her home in Blaengarw.

It is the seventh such tragic death in Wales this year - at least six young men, who shared some link, have also taken their own lives.

I think it's really odd that the one girl they were able to save doesn't know "why" she tried to commit suicide. Is there some type of subliminal message being transmitted? I know that sounds way out there but you would think someone would know why they were trying to kill themselves.

To be quite honest I dont see the problem even if the Internet is entirely responsible for linking these people together and allowing them to share their ideas and whatnot. If there are a collection of people stupid enough to take their own lives, then how about we put the blame on them, and leave it at that. Ive got no sympathy for people who commit suicide, only the people who are left with the burden.
