The time of this sight was 11:35 to 13:00, so that is in the middle of the day. It is possible to see Venus in the daylight on rare occasion, but it
never goes higher than 45 degrees from the horizon and the report gives the elevation at 75 degrees. The description of being the size of a ping-pong
ball at arms length also contradicts this explanation.
One thing that stands out in this report is the length of time of the sighting being an hour and a half. It would be nice to be able to see the film
of this object, but it would be my guess it is long gone.
