Is the news covering UFO's a good thing?

I've been following the texa's UFO sighting from the start and have been right on board when CNN's larry king covered the topic , my wife and I sat with chills listening to Stanton friedman talk. He was great , anyways it got me to thinking.

The second anyone saw coverage my wife and I were all over it , which makes me wonder how many others reacted to same way, and if they did . Doesn't that make it very easy for the government or whomever you all believe is at fault, to run story after story and become THE place we all go for info and then just control the info right out in the open because we'd all tune in a listen anyways?

I'll second that, i wouldn't trust the news at all.

In a way though, i could spread the idea and likelihood that UFO's are a real phenomenon, and not just leave them with something to chuckle about. Usually UFO news get stuck at the end of the broadcast where all the cute animal reports are

I think it could open some eye's and peak people's interest in UFO's if the right story is covered without bias and ridicule.

My local news has basically presented ufo reporting or sitings like unfortunate meth heads. However, they have on few occasions run unbiased reporting especially after major pop. reporting/sitings. Just to stay fair and honest I guess. ROFL

They were covering it on cnn this morning and to my suprise no smart ass comments or laughing it off . I think its a good thing if it is covered in a balanced way."and not the fox way"
