what does it matter? Is an alien on Mars going to help pay my mortage, or feed my family?

What does it matter if some celebrity dies, or is involves in some scandal, does gossip broadcast daily from the news help pay the mortgage, or feed our family?......something to do with life on other planets is far more serious then celebrity gossip......and yet such gossip is plainly shown on TV every night....as if it were essential and so damn relevant to our lives....

What the op is saying.....is there is obviously a firm grip on the media, which is manipulating the system on how we think and what we think about.....any logical person who’s interested in the origins of man and the universe...would surely find this information about mars to be one of the most important and vital groundbreaking discoveries ever made.....

Such news should then be taken much more seriously and prominently...

in my opinion yes, as a "reporter" and if u had common sense u should say to yourself after having spent a little time studying some of the more prominent cases, u should have come to the conclusion hmm there seems to be something to this and therefore im going to start to "report" this to the people of the world, its funny these people never accept the govts explanations unless it has to do with these extraterrestial entities

i usually dont reply to individuals but ive been in a replying mood lately, thanks for the thumbs up, im glad someone recognizes a legitimate attempt at learning about this amazing subject however i dont post my opinions for compliments, i just write my thoughts, im sure im going to say things thats going to upset u enough to where as your going to take back your stars, flags, and thumbs but thanks anyhow

That's nice in theory, but in practice we know it's not true, because we've seen examples of it already, here on Earth. Look at what happened on Sept 11. A universial (to Americans) threat appears, attacks us. Were we all suddenly united? Did people suddenly stop doing drugs, killing each other over them? Did they stop being greedy?

You know the answer to this. We may temporarily forget, but in the end, we're still human. We still have our wants, needs, and lusts.

That's what usually happens in our population. Even if we see E.T spaceship at close of us, most of us says at he/she didn't see nothing there, it was just some illusion or trash in eye. People don't talk about these to others much because they fear to talk about those things because they fear at others will laugh them. But so on goes this laughing side too, he/she laughing to these people because he/she don't want say he/she have seen them or their spaceships and know at E.T people are real and are not just an myth, so fear make's to two side in them. They fear to talk about these because they fear be an different, so they want look same as others, want talk about same things as others....And so on. So people try reach sameness more than being their ownselfs. If someone is different, he/she will be hated, bullyed and much other things in our earth people eyes. Most of people see E.T people samekind monster too like they see different an monster.

My wife was living in NYC at the time of the attack, and for the next year or two she was amazed at how much people changed. It eventually wore off, however, and New Yorkers went back to being New Yorkers.
