I know a guy that owned a slaughterhouse 30+ years ago and he had a satellite dish covered in mirrors with a copper ball at the focal point. He used it to heat water to run the operation. He told me that it worked great when it tracked the sun the way it was supposed to. Back then they were just learning to do these things. I remember going by it and seeing the ball glowing white hot. I believe it would have run a small steam engine.

Entirely doable! Applause!

I would love to have an auxiliary power source in my house, that's just one thing you can do. I would go for an oven, though.

(A fantastic little steam engine)

Charger

The idea is to basically use the fresnel lens to create steam to run the generator that spins the charger to charge battery's that will be used to create hydrogen
www.youtube.com...

then to be used to fire up bigger generator
to charge up allot of battery's

I wonder if there is a way to capture the escaping water from the steam and recycle it back into steam again..

in the end I suppose one can charge up allot of car battery's during the daylight to use on the off chance there to many clouds..

Heres another Idea that captures the suns energy for typical use

this really beats the cost of buying a bunch of solar cells..

I wonder if the solar cells use the fresnel technology?

I got a question here..

what if I put 5 cycle light generators around a single tire..
will I then produce 5X more energy ?
