One of the best books about catastrophies IMO is David Keys - Catastrophe: An Investigation into the Origins of the Modern World.

I think we need a bigger forum for that

It would be very cool to see a summary though, but I fear even shortened down we would be talking a 1km long webpage. That'll show people just how massive history really is.

Agreed it would be a massive task but would also be great fun and a good research tool.
I vote merka to run it!!.......j/k.

(ps) we could probably shorten it by setting some guidelines?

anyway just a thought i had.

it is neet to go back and mention some things about vinca. there are murmerings that it should have been called parta [yip like my handle here] for the parta complex which is a 50sq/km mteropolis of famous bull culters seems to be the epicentre. in fact the romans named or noted parta as caput bubala on the tabula peut. interesting translations may be rendered from that.
doogle

anyway it seems to be a 7km circular canal city with military garrisons, cemeteries public structures and even a port etc. a little atlantis i [not you] might say.

also this is a riot... doogle

was the garden of yima a vinca construction?

soryy about this. i spend too much time reading romanian discussion forums.
