Mitt will be on Jay Leno tonight! Hopefully this will help Mitt as it did with Huckabee.

Some more good news. As a previous mod in my post said, we have another endorsement for Romney.

The "Romney Is GOP's Best Candidate"
Reno Gazette-Journal
Editorial
January 18, 2008

...

"The best candidate – and the one who would give the party its strongest chance in the fall – is former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

"Romney is a successful businessman who showed his ability to get voters to cross party lines when he won the governor?s office in Massachusetts, home of the Kennedys, Michael Dukakis and John Kerry. He left that office with his reputation and his relationships intact.

"Romney?s most remarkable feat, however, was his stewardship of the Salt Lake City Olympics. He showed that he could bring disparate groups together, clean up a mess left by his predecessor, and to put on possibly the most successful games ever.

"Romney?s No. 1 opponent since the New Hampshire primary is Arizona U.S. Sen. John McCain. McCain is a genuine war hero. But he?s also a government insider who has outlived scandal."

...

"Republicans need a candidate who represents conservative values, builds bipartisan support and signals change for a restless electorate.

"Romney is that candidate."

Apparently you are a Big Mitt Romney fan. Thats cool. But have you checked into any of the other candidates to see if there is anyone else out there who could receive your support? Another thing I dont like about Mitt is that he has lobbyists working with him on his campaign that he says are his advisers. That to me is scary and signals a possible corrupt future prez if elected. If he has lobbyist working with him now, what lobbyists in the future are likely to give input into his campaign and maybe change things in this country to favor a particular group. I think this is a big problem for Bush now along with many other influences such as the elites but that is another topic.

The lobbyist part is something for each personal person to decide. Here is the video:

I agree with Romney. If Ron was paid and wasn't anything other than an adviser (advises) then yes, lobbyists would be running his campaign.

Well, I am not worried about his campaign. But the fact that he has lobbyists "Advising" him on issues. Which means this lobbyist is probably influencing decisions that are being made by Romney and will likely influence decisions he could make in the future as president. Politicians should distance themselves very far away from these lobbyists because to me and probably others and makes them appear corrupt or able to be corrupted.

Believe me, Romney is smart enough not to let other people influence him. He makes his own decisions, Ron is probably a good adviser. Although, I would be very angry if Romney starts putting lobbyists in his cabinet or anywhere else.

I hope you are right about Romney, who knows, he could be the next prez?
Just wish he had Nothing to do with any lobbyist.

I'm not 100% thrilled with Mitt, but I find him to be the best candidate in the running..

We vote tomorrow and I have no problem telling you he gets my vote and my families...

He has a good record and as I generally ignore what they all say this time of the season, that is the "tell all".

Words are easy, past actions are more convincing of future results...

All the Polls are saying McCain will get the nod here in SC, but the polls were wrong about Hillary, so we can hope...

Wish us luck tomorrow..

(weather is supposed to be nasty. wonder what kind of effect that will have?)
