To me this is awesome.
I have always believed that there were bits of historical fact hidden in the bible. Then again, there is usually a bit of historical fact in a lot of fiction isn't there?

An artifact does not verify the validity of a book in the bible, it merely identifies that when it was written, certain histories, people, and places were used in an effort to make it sound legitimate.

As I said earlier. It's a STORY. Indiana Jones' movies had Hitler in them. Don't be surprised when 1000 years from now, if Mr. Jones makes it into the history books as actually fighting against the Nazis, because some artifacts (videotapes) were found, 'proving' it to be so.

What is history if not the study of old writings and artifacts? Do you believe in anything that was recorded before people who are alive today were born? If not you are doomed to never learn any lessons from history.
